Integration IT Manager

Saronic Technologies•Austin, TX

About The Position

Saronic Technologies is seeking an Integration IT Manager to lead the end-to-end IT integration of newly acquired companies. The role is hands-on and serves as the senior IT presence at acquired sites, assessing existing environments and integrating infrastructure, networks, endpoints, identity, and security tooling into Saronic’s standard environment. The manager will travel to acquired sites and coordinate with HQ infrastructure, security, help desk, and business systems teams. Business systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, and finance are owned by a separate team; this role coordinates related dependencies, including identity, SSO, and network access, but does not own those systems. The position covers technical discovery and planning, integration execution, security and compliance alignment, support transition, vendor and contract rationalization, partnership with HQ, and change management. It also maintains reusable integration playbooks, runbooks, and checklists and reports progress, risks, and blockers to IT and corporate development leadership. Travel of 50–75% is expected, including extended on-site assignments and occasional short-notice trips.

  • Ability to assess undocumented environments and quickly develop a credible integration plan.
  • Strong written documentation skills, including producing diagrams and runbooks.
  • Comfort working amid ambiguity, competing priorities, and aggressive timelines.
  • Willingness to travel 50–75%, including extended on-site assignments and occasional short-notice trips.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with people whose systems and processes are changing.
  • U.S. person status required for export control compliance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or other regulated or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with OT, laboratory, or shop-floor networks and production environment constraints.

  • Prior experience at a company integrating multiple acquisitions per year.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Azure/AWS, CISSP, or PMP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site technical discovery at acquired companies, including inventorying network topology and circuits, servers and storage, cloud tenants, identity providers, endpoint fleets and management tools, security tooling, licensing, vendor and MSP contracts, physical security and AV, and support processes.
  • Document current-state assessments, risk registers, and sequenced integration plans with effort estimates and cost impact.
  • Drive network redesign and cutovers, including LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and circuit procurement or decommissioning.
  • Manage identity migration and tenant consolidation, endpoint re-imaging or enrollment into MDM and management tools, email and collaboration migration, server and workload migration or retirement, backup and disaster recovery alignment, and conference room and AV standardization.
  • Bring acquired environments to Saronic’s security baseline, including EDR, MFA, patching and vulnerability management, SIEM logging, privileged access controls, and removal of legacy administrator access paths.
  • Identify and remediate compliance gaps related to NIST 800-171/CMMC, ITAR/export control handling, and SOC 2 where applicable; escalate issues requiring legal or security review.

  • Help assess, onboard, and ramp acquired IT staff who join the company.
  • Catalog inherited vendor contracts, licenses, and MSP relationships; recommend consolidation, renegotiation, or termination; and track realized savings.
  • Coordinate with HQ infrastructure, security, and business systems teams to align field decisions with long-term architecture and support execution sprints.
  • Maintain and improve reusable integration playbooks, runbooks, and checklists, and report progress, risks, and blockers to IT and corporate development leadership.
