About The Position

Clinisys is a global provider of intelligent diagnostic informatics solutions, building AI-enabled, cloud-based platforms for diagnostic workflows across healthcare, life sciences, and public health. The Integration Engineer designs, develops, and supports integrations for Clinisys products, including WinPath and CLS, across healthcare and laboratory environments. The role works with customers and internal stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions, and leads integration work from design through testing, deployment, and go-live. It also supports troubleshooting, project delivery, and opportunities to use AI, automation, and process improvement. The role requires working knowledge of AI technologies and the ability to demonstrate use of AI tools in a professional setting. New employees must attend or travel to the office on their first day for onboarding, including identity verification, documentation, equipment, introductions, and orientation.

Requirements

• Experience designing and delivering integration solutions in healthcare, laboratory, or complex software environments.
• Strong knowledge of HL7, APIs, web services, interface engines, and integration architectures.
• Experience with databases, messaging technologies, and interoperability standards.
• Strong C# development and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and project delivery capabilities.
• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies and the ability to leverage them to improve processes and outcomes.
• Core understanding of AI concepts and ability to demonstrate professional use of AI tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in UK or Irish healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of LIMS, pathology, or diagnostic workflows.
• Experience with Clinisys products, including WinPath and CLS.
• Experience in project-based software delivery environments.
• Knowledge of cloud, hybrid, or distributed architectures.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning technologies and their practical business applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integration solutions for Clinisys products, including WinPath and CLS.
• Deliver integrations in healthcare and laboratory environments using HL7, APIs, JSON, and related technologies.
• Work with customers to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement workflows.
• Lead integration activities through design, testing, deployment, and go-live.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and application issues.
• Produce technical documentation and support successful project delivery.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and process improvement to customer solutions and delivery processes.
