Integration Carrier Code Specialist

About The Position

Internally focused, this role contributes to the creation and development of carrier market programs concentrated on market relations, creation of panels for product support, qualifying insurance carriers, and establishing commission terms and conditions. The specialist will manage, monitor, and negotiate the renewal of existing carrier agreements, acting as an advocate for existing client carriers. This role involves reviewing carrier commission schedules and seeking the most favorable plans for the division branch network, working closely with the regional/branch network regarding locally administered plans and helping to navigate national plans. Additionally, the specialist will work with business niches in developing enhanced compensation plans with key markets, measure and report on the various forms of compensation paid to AJG by insurance carriers, and collaborate with carrier contacts to develop new and enhance existing compensation plans. The role also includes reviewing compensation plans of recent acquisitions to work toward integrating them into existing AJG/Division plans, supporting contracted clients in using and accessing the carrier platform, and may contribute to the development of functional strategy. The specialist develops solutions based on subject expertise and occasionally represents the department or function at a broader level. They may provide guidance to lower-level staff but have no formal supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance brokerage business.
