About The Position

ISHPI is seeking an Integrated Systems Technician III to support Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, Virginia. The role manages supported C5ISC systems and provides system, software, hardware, network, test, and electronic engineering services, as well as technical writing.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Active DoD government security clearance.
A minimum of four years of experience in C4IT/Systems Engineering is specified for the preferred candidate.

Nice To Haves

Baccalaureate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Information Technology is preferred.
A minimum of four years of experience in C4IT/Systems Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, test, verify, repair, diagnose, and calibrate various systems.
Troubleshoot and support fielded systems at organizational, intermediate, and depot levels.
Provide training to Government personnel and junior technicians.
Read system drawings, blueprints, bills of materials, and technical manuals as needed to provide technical support.
Conduct performance measurement activities and report findings to Government representatives.
Provide oral, written, on-site, or other troubleshooting assistance.
Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing technical documentation, instructions, procedures, and staging lists.
Coordinate with Government personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to arrange diagnostics and repairs and to order and manage parts.
Provide supply-level support as needed by documenting and communicating results to Government representatives.
Assist Government personnel during conferences, meetings, and other problem-solving situations.
