About The Position

ISHPI is seeking an Integrated Systems Technician III to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, Virginia. The role manages supported C5ISC systems and provides system, software, hardware, network, test, and electronic engineering services, as well as technical writing.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
An active DoD government security clearance.
A minimum of four years of experience in C4IT/Systems Engineering.

Nice To Haves

A baccalaureate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Information Technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the installation, testing, verification, repair, diagnostic analysis, and calibration of various systems.
Provide organizational-, intermediate-, and depot-level troubleshooting and support for fielded systems.
Provide training to Government personnel and junior technicians.
Provide technical support, including reading system drawings, blueprints, bills of materials, and technical manuals.
Conduct performance measurement activities and report findings to Government representatives.
Provide oral, written, on-site, or other troubleshooting assistance.
Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing technical documentation, instructions, procedures, and staging lists.
Coordinate with Government personnel, subcontractors, and vendor personnel to arrange diagnostics and repairs and to order and manage parts.
Provide supply-level support as needed by documenting and communicating results to Government representatives.
Assist Government personnel in conferences, meetings, and other problem-solving situations.
