About The Position

The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Integrated Eligibility Analyst. Our ideal candidate communicates and operates with professionalism and is a proactive and solutions-oriented problem solver. In addition to having a solid foundation in DTA programs and systems, the ideal candidate should also be a willing learner about new tools, processes, and methods of working. The Integrated Eligibility analyst will coordinate specialized projects, conduct assessments, and research to help inform strategies to improve processes.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze laws, regulations, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines governing assistance programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and interest in informing technology requirements and design.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to shift focus as priorities and requirements change.
  • Ability to produce highly formatted documentation and presentations with minimal oversight.
  • Four years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis.
  • One year of the required experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Assistant Director of Integrated Eligibility to promote initiatives that improve client experience and administrative efficiencies.
  • Assist in executing projects within DTA and across the Commonwealth to reduce program participation gaps and maximize access to services. This includes participation in developing technical requirements, vision planning, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and implementing procedural changes.
  • Consult with management and IT division to develop solutions to programmatic and operational issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other units involved in the planning of the project to execute and monitor deliverables to ensure project completion within required timeframes and successful implementation.
  • Act as a liaison for the Department with federal, state, and private agencies.
  • Write documentation for various audiences, such as clients, staff, oversight agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Promote an inclusive environment among clients and colleagues that encourages and supports open dialogue and sharing of opinions and experiences.
