About The Position

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a full-time PsyD, PhD, LICSW or LMHC to join their Integrated Behavioral Health Division in Worcester, MA. Requirements

  • PhD, PsyD, LICSW, or LMHC
  • Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
  • Expertise in working with the LGBTQ+ community to provide gender affirming care

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of health psychology is preferred
  • Experience with substance abuse and addiction is preferred
  • Experience working within an integrated model
  • Minimum 3 years practice experience

Responsibilities

  • Meet with patients individually and potentially in a group setting related to their behavioral health needs
  • Provide internal letters of approval for hormonal therapy
  • Provide external approval letters recommending surgery
  • Provide treatment for primary care patients for behavioral health disorders, symptoms and conditions including substance use disorders
  • Enhance patient engagement by using evidenced based tools such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
  • Help implement treatment plans with site specific Integrated Clinician and regional Prescribers (Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists)
