About The Position

LifeStance Health is seeking two full-time licensed therapists to join their Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team. This role is virtually embedded in an OB/GYN clinic, working as a core member of a Collaborative Care Team. The therapist will collaborate with OB/GYN clinicians, medical staff, psychiatric consultants, and other behavioral health professionals to provide integrated mental and physical healthcare. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions through brief therapy and support, aligning with patients' overall healthcare goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's mental health, delivers person-centered care, enjoys a dynamic work environment, and is committed to improving patient outcomes through team-based care.

Requirements

  • Licensed therapist (i.e., social worker, marriage and family therapist, licensed mental health clinician, licensed professional counselor).
  • License to practice in Florida.
  • Comfort with technology, including navigating electronic health records and registry platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Experience with and enjoyment of working on multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Proficiency in communicating behavioral health principles to non-behavioral health professionals.
  • Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions (CBT, PST, MI).
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Ability to provide culturally responsive care.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary care setting required.
  • Proficiency working within electronic health record systems and efficiency in documenting.
  • A passion for expanding access to quality care through innovative, cutting-edge treatment approaches.

Nice To Haves

  • Integrated care settings preferred.
  • Experience working in women’s mental health preferred.
  • Therapists bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions.
  • Offering brief therapy and support that aligns with patients’ overall healthcare goals.
  • Collaborating closely with OB/GYN clinicians, medical staff, psychiatric consultants, and other behavioral health professionals.
  • Delivering comprehensive care that integrates mental and physical health.
  • Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments and communicating findings to the care team.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the patient and care team.
  • Providing culturally responsive care, respecting and valuing diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for the OB/GYN setting, including CBT, PST, and MI.
