About The Position

LifeStance Health is seeking two full-time licensed therapists to join their Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team. This position is virtually embedded in an obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) clinic, where the therapist will be a core member of the Collaborative Care Team. The role involves close collaboration with OB/GYN clinicians, medical staff, a psychiatric consultant, and other behavioral health professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated mental and physical healthcare. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions, offering brief therapy and support aligned with patients' overall healthcare goals. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates flexibility, is passionate about women's mental health, and is committed to improving patient outcomes through team-based care.

Requirements

  • Licensed therapist (i.e., social worker, marriage and family therapist, licensed mental health clinician, licensed professional counselor) skilled in the delivery of evidence-based interventions.
  • License to practice in Florida.
  • Comfort with technology, including navigating an electronic health record and a registry platform to track symptom improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Experience with and enjoyment of working on multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Proficiency in communicating behavioral health principles to non-behavioral health professionals.
  • Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for the OB/GYN setting (CBT, PST, MI).
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and communicate findings efficiently.
  • Skill in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Ability to provide culturally responsive care.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary care setting.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address behavioral, physical health, and social needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
  • Proficiency working within electronic health record systems and efficiency in documenting in a clear, concise, timely manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Integrated care settings preferred.
  • Experience working in women’s mental health preferred.
  • Therapists bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions.

  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for the OB/GYN setting, including CBT, PST, and MI.
