Intake Eligibility Specialist
About The Position
The Intake Eligibility Specialist helps families access child care services by providing accurate, timely, and compassionate support. In this customer-focused role, the specialist builds relationships with families and providers, explains eligibility requirements and program processes, and supports customers in the Coastal Bend Area. The position requires weekly travel to four area offices and frequent local travel of up to 50%. The specialist reviews documentation, calculates income-based cost-share, enters information into TX3C and FACS, maintains organized and compliant records, documents interactions, and works to resolve concerns from customers and providers.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Two years of customer service experience required.
- Reliable transportation.

- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
