Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual Spanish/English skills are required.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient intake or a related role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with acute attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with healthcare information systems and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

Collect and verify patient information for accuracy and completeness during intake.
Coordinate appointments and communicate necessary information to patients.
Enter patient information accurately into electronic health records and other relevant systems.
Maintain organized, up-to-date records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Respond to patient inquiries with information and assistance in an empathetic and professional manner.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth transitions between intake and care.
Conduct regular audits of intake data for accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

Collaborate with the Intake Supervisor and team members to enhance communication and workflow.
Participate in training sessions and contribute to a positive team culture.
