Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn agency software systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to assist with various office responsibilities.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding service and supporting the mission of providing exceptional home care.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or healthcare-related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, home care, medical office, customer service, or intake coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, referral sources, and caregivers, providing professional and compassionate customer service.
  • Coordinate the intake process from referral to admission, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with agency policies.
  • Communicate with physicians, referral sources, patients, families, and internal staff to facilitate timely initiation of services.
  • Maintain accurate client records and enter information into agency systems while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
  • Assist with interviewing caregiver applicants and support recruiting efforts as needed.
  • Perform a variety of administrative and office support duties to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn all aspects of the home care agency, providing cross-coverage and support for various office functions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continued growth of the agency.
  • Perform other office duties and special projects as assigned.
