About The Position

Voyages Behavioral Health is seeking an Intake Coordinator to support its admissions office and care for a diverse patient population. The role manages referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions processes, and performs other related duties as assigned. The position is full-time and has rotating day shifts.

Requirements

Medical terminology knowledge is required.
Knowledge of the insurance verification process is required.
Crisis management certification is required per hospital policy and standards.
At least one year of experience in a medical office position or healthcare registration function.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Business or Technical School preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide admissions office support for the facility.
Manage referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions processes.
