About The Position

As an Intake Coordinator at Glen Park Senior Living, you will play a pivotal role in welcoming new residents and facilitating a smooth transition into our community. You will be the first point of contact for families and prospective residents, guiding them through the intake process with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an assisted senior living setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to support seniors and their families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office suite and electronic health record systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, healthcare administration, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Conducting initial assessments and evaluations of potential residents to determine their care needs and preferences.
  • Collaborating with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to develop personalized care plans.
  • Providing information about our facility, services, and amenities to prospective residents and their families.
  • Coordinating tours of the facility and conducting orientations for new residents.
  • Managing administrative tasks related to admissions, including maintaining accurate records and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all aspects of the intake process.
