About The Position
USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated Insurance Verifier. The center has 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms and performs outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology. The Insurance Verification Clerk validates and enters patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system. Duties may also include communicating with physician offices and insurance carriers, as well as following up with patients. The candidate must be available Monday through Friday; the schedule is subject to change based on the surgical schedule and the flow of the day. Availability for some early mornings and later evenings is required.
