Boulder City Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Insurance Verifier to join our team. This role is responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, confirming benefits, and obtaining necessary authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a solid understanding of insurance processes within a healthcare setting. The Insurance Verification Recorder is responsible for verifying insurance, benefits, and obtaining authorizations for patients presenting for services when advance registration notification has not been received for non-emergency services. For emergency services, authorizations are obtained as soon as possible in accordance with individual insurance requirements and hospital policy.
