About The Position

Designs and delivers training programs to business line staff and, as needed, any necessary outside staff. Builds relationships and works with business line management to identify training needs. Responsible for implementing and monitoring training programs. Contributes to the development and implementation of business line wide initiatives. What you will do: Designs, develops and facilitates, role-specific, sales, technology applications/software, vendor, product, AAA quality standards, AAA Ambassador, compliance, professional development, supervisory development and member service (Five Diamond) training programs. Delivers training utilizing a variety of training techniques. Ensures trainees comprehend the complexity and depth of related information and can apply their learning. Facilitates training programs in a variety of settings including formal classroom settings, offsite locations, regional training centers, virtual learning, and one-on-one training sessions. Training programs may be conducted after business hours. Maintains and updates content for ongoing programs. Utilizes Learning Management System for tracking of participant rosters. Partners with Learning Systems Administrator to create sessions and enroll participants in the LMS. Facilitates one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions, and delivers feedback to participants. Depending on business line, training may delivered to non-employees. Travel may be required to onsite locations and regional offices. Maintains and updates training materials when operational, technical and procedural changes occur to ensure that curriculum is always accurate and up-to-date. Builds professional relationships with AAA partners and vendors. Maintains high level of topical expertise and knowledge of all product offerings, industry trends, department policies and procedures. Keeps abreast of industry trends by attending related seminars and courses, and maintaining industry certifications. Participates in department meetings to proactively communicate the status of training initiatives, ideas, and concepts and to gather feedback from the operations and management teams. Provides feedback and coaching throughout training and nesting to help learners refine and enhance their technical and professional skills toward established standards. (10%) Establishes strong working relationships with other Training Specialists and operations, management and leadership teams. Depending on Business Line, incumbent may assist the operations during events or and perform the duties of the audience they support in order to maintain current and relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required or 6-8 years of additional relevant experience required
  • 2-3 years Relevant experience or business line industry experience required
  • 2-3 years Of facilitating live courses in-person and virtual environment required
  • Current ASE electrical or engine repair certification (A1 &A6) and Wreckmaster Certification Level 2/3 within 60 Days Required
  • Must be able to operate tow vehicles and successfully pass a Driver’s License Check Required
  • DOT Physical within 180 Days Required
  • CTC/CTA Certification for Travel Trainers Required
  • Insurance designations (CPCU, INS, AINS, API, ACSR, AAI, CIC, CISR, etc.) for Insurance Trainers Required
