Requirements

  • Previous sales experience is preferred, especially in insurance, financial services, retail, automotive, or another customer focused industry
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Someone who is self motivated, coachable, and enjoys working toward goals
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Willingness to obtain a Michigan Property and Casualty License and a Michigan Life and Health License

Responsibilities

  • Work agency provided leads to help individuals and families find the right insurance coverage
  • Generate additional business through referrals, networking, and relationship building
  • Educate clients on their coverage options and recommend solutions that fit their needs
  • Sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance products
  • Build lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent service before and after the sale
  • Consistently work toward individual and agency sales goals
