Risk & Insurance Analyst Senior Summary Under general direction, administers assigned property, casualty, nuclear, and other risk financing and insurance programs for Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and its subsidiaries. Evaluates exposures, analyzes risk treatment alternatives, supports insurance placement and renewal activities, and provides technical consultation to business units, joint venture participants, and other stakeholders. Uses data, digital tools, and sound risk management judgment to improve the accuracy, efficiency, transparency, and governance of insurance and claims processes. Develops clear analyses, reports, and recommendations that support informed decisions, protect organizational assets, maintain reliable records and controls, and strengthen operational resilience. Risk & Insurance Analyst Consultant Summary Under limited direction, serves as a risk and insurance subject-matter expert and trusted advisor for complex property, casualty, nuclear, and other risk financing and insurance programs for Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and its subsidiaries. Leads the evaluation of significant and emerging exposures, develops risk treatment strategies, and provides expert consultation to business leaders, joint venture participants, project teams, and other stakeholders. Leads or coordinates complex insurance placement, renewal, contractual risk transfer, loss prevention, claims, and risk financing activities, and develops well-supported recommendations for management consideration. Uses advanced analysis, market knowledge, digital tools, and sound risk management judgment to influence decisions, improve program effectiveness, and strengthen the accuracy, efficiency, transparency, governance, and financial control of insurance and claims processes. Leads cross-functional initiatives, resolves complex or unusual matters, and provides technical guidance to other risk and insurance professionals. Develops executive-level analyses and recommendations that protect organizational assets, support informed risk-taking, maintain reliable records and controls, and strengthen operational and financial resilience.
