Insurance Reconstruction Project Manager
About The Position
Restoration 1 New Jersey is hiring experienced and motivated Project Managers to oversee residential and commercial insurance reconstruction projects throughout New Jersey. This is a full-time field position with a company vehicle provided. Daily travel throughout New Jersey is required. We are looking for someone who understands how to manage multiple active jobs at once while delivering excellent customer service and keeping projects moving efficiently. This is not a foreman role and not a one-project-at-a-time environment. We need someone who can communicate, organize, lead, and problem solve in a fast-paced setting. We are looking for a true Project Manager — someone who can manage customers, crews, schedules, and multiple moving parts at the same time. The right candidate is hungry, motivated, organized, and understands urgency. You must be able to build trust with customers while making sure projects are completed professionally and efficiently. Requirements
- Experience in restoration, reconstruction, remodeling, roofing, insurance repair, or home services project management
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage high project volume in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to lead projects and keep jobs moving
- Comfortable working in the field daily
- Valid driver's license required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Xactimate or insurance claims is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, materials, and inspections
- Communicate directly with homeowners, adjusters, insurance carriers, and property managers
- Perform site visits throughout New Jersey
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Handle customer concerns professionally and proactively
- Review scopes of work, supplements, and change orders
- Maintain job documentation, communication logs, and project updates
- Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the reconstruction process
