About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of insurance policy maintenance, licensing, and carrier appointments. The specialist will conduct audits, provide feedback, and manage inquiries using insurance and AAA systems. They will also serve as a liaison with insurance carriers and provide excellent customer service to members and customers, demonstrating AAA Core Values.

Requirements

  • Responsible to obtain and maintain the required license(s)/certification(s) in an active status.
  • Working knowledge of computer software and ability to effectively navigate multiple systems.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, & events as business need requires/at Leadership directive.
  • Able to display expert-level knowledge of carrier offerings, processes, and requirements.
  • Must be able to resolve problems and work under pressure to diffuse member concerns.
  • Ability to operate independently and display expert-level of proficiency in minimization of errors & problem solving.
  • Work under pressure during periods of high volume.
  • Ability to multitask in various areas of insurance sales and service.

Responsibilities

  • Meet guidelines and deadlines for policy maintenance, insurance licensing, and carrier appointments.
  • Support Insurance Leadership with additional administrative tasks.
  • Complete audits and quality reviews accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Provide monthly summaries of trends and opportunities to the insurance leadership team.
  • Utilize Insurance and AAA systems to manage and respond to inquiries and issues.
  • Serve as a liaison with insurance carriers to ensure timely underwriting of policies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance carriers’ underwriting guidelines.
  • Participate in training and testing programs as required.
  • Follow required processes and workflow on every interaction.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.
  • Understand all AAA Insurance offerings and other Club products and services.
  • Deliver quality service to members and customers.
  • Effectively resolve member and customer concerns.
  • Demonstrate AAA Core Values in every interaction.
  • Urgently assist customers in-person or over the phone based on business need.
