About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through insurance and other tailored solutions. The role offers mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, and a portfolio of products designed for educators. Producers work to build a client base and grow their own business, using established books of business, value-added services, streamlined sales processes, and a multi-line product portfolio. The work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. Compensation is performance-based and structured as 1099, with a 36-month incentive plan, enhanced commissions, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, uncapped commission potential, and a sign-on bonus. Top performers may qualify for all-expenses-paid trips. A mentor agent provides guidance and support.

Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
