Profinium Insurance Agency has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative role based out of our Truman location! We are a full-service, family-owned Insurance Agency located in Southern MN. Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • A high numerical aptitude
  • The ability to maintain confidential information
  • The ability to work with multiple levels of management & agency staff.
  • Skills needed in a typical office environment, including computer skills & utilization of office equipment.
  • Regularly required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to operate a computer, carry, handle & feel objects; reach with hands & arms; communicate effectively & efficiently in person & over the phone.
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Supporting insurance agents in the processing of new applications, renewals, endorsements, claims, & submitting customer payments.
  • Being proficient with the agency management system & carrier websites.
  • Serving as the branch location point of contact for customers needing assistance in person or via telephone, ensuring our clients receive an AMAZING client experience with our Insurance Agency!
  • Supporting the agents in a way that provides them the most opportunity to procure new business and retain existing business.
  • Interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Handling and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
  • Processing and following up on new applications, policy changes, reinstatements and cancellations of insurance policies.
  • Reviewing insurance applications to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance policy changes, & changing policy record to conform to insured party’s specifications.
  • Entering customer information and policies accurately into the management program.
  • Composing business correspondence as requested.
  • Corresponding with insured or agent to obtain information or inform them of account status changes.
  • Interviewing clients & taking phone calls to provide customer service & obtain information on claims.
  • Organizing & maintaining policyholder files, including new, renewed & cancelled policies.
  • Processing, preparing & submitting business forms, such as applications for coverage to insurance carriers.
  • Reviewing & verifying data on insurance application & policies.
  • Attending meetings, seminars & programs to learn about new products & services & keep applicable licenses current.
  • Verifying the accuracy from agent to insurance carriers on new & renewed policies & keeping files up to date.
  • Processing & tracking claims with companies & ensuring up-to-date information in the management program.

  • Serving as back-up for the bookkeeping function to include the Accounting Software system.
  • Processing daily incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws & regulations.
  • Assisting in the support of other agency activities as requested.
