The Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator manages insurance and related financial operations across multiple locations. The role works with patients, the financial team, practice managers, and staff to support accurate billing and timely insurance reimbursement. It also uses insurance AI tools to streamline claims processes and may involve travel to partner practices when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in orthodontic insurance coordination; multi-site experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental or orthodontic insurance, billing, and coding.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience working with various insurance companies and plans.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex insurance terms in simple language.
• A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with practice management software and insurance claim tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to partner practices when needed.
