About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in P&C insurance, specifically in Personal Lines. The role involves collaborating with business leaders, conducting research, providing analytical solutions, and documenting new products and processes. You will be instrumental in coordinating with various stakeholders, including underwriters and business teams, to ensure successful product rollouts and system implementations, such as PE11. Regular reporting on progress, risks, and needs to senior management is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Very strong Insurance background and knowledge of P&C insurance – Personal Lines.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Experience in coordinating with different business leaders on products rolled out to new states.
  • Experience in research, recommendations and document new products, context flows, processes, workflows and procedures to provide technical, analytical, and business solutions for business partners.
  • Experienced in working on Agile methodology and ability to understand and articulate the complexities involved in PE11 implementation.
  • Experience in having conversations with Business heads/sponsors, involving in key decision discussions related to state expansion.
  • Experience in coordinating with larger teams in preparing Architecture Design Document/System Diagram, Business Requirement Documents, Functional/Non-Functional Requirement Documents, Use-Case, Business Process Diagrams, Activity diagrams, Document of Understanding, Knowledge Transition Document.
  • Experience in coordinating with Underwriters and Business team for Standard and Non-Standard business.
  • Experience in reporting status on a regular basis to senior management on progress made, risks and mitigations and key asks.
