About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Agent to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The role offers mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to products designed for educators. Agents can use established books of business while building their own practice, with support and accountability from a mentor agent. The position uses a performance-based compensation model with a 36-month incentive plan, enhanced commissions, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. The role does not require an external office and may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. The job posting describes the compensation as 1099.
