About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The agent builds and manages an insurance agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role focuses on developing market access and client relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and growing a business through networking and community engagement.

Horace Mann provides a dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with activity- and success-based incentives during the first 48 months, including quarterly production incentives.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident-state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
