About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Williston, North Dakota. The agent will build and manage an insurance agency focused on serving educators, identifying solutions that help them obtain affordable insurance and achieve financial security. The role involves developing market access and relationships, presenting insurance products to groups and individuals, and networking in community and industry events. The agent has an exclusive territory and access to a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, along with technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Compensation is performance-based and identified as 1099, with an industry-leading 48-month incentive package and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months. Activity and success contribute to earning incentives.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
