About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to build and manage an agency serving educators and their families. The agent will identify and present insurance and financial solutions, build market access and relationships, and grow a client network through networking, community, and industry events. The role calls for investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business. Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation and an incentive package for the first 48 months, along with a dedicated Premier Service Representative, an exclusive niche market, technology, ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. The position is based in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage an agency.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
