About The Position

HUB International is seeking client-focused Insurance Advisors to join its growing Community Branch Network Division. This role is based in the Richmond, BC location, which is described as the largest and busiest branch, servicing multiple dealerships within the Richmond Auto Mall. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with a strong customer service mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit with a high sales drive.

Requirements

Level 1 General Insurance License.
6+ months of previous insurance experience; ideally as a Road Advisor.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Experienced in building relationships with clients through a customer service mindset.
An entrepreneurial spirit with a high sales drive and initiative.
A valid driver’s license and your own personal vehicle to travel to dealership locations.

Nice To Haves

You have or are working towards an industry designation.
You have working proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese language skills.

Responsibilities

Provide ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships.
Assist in the office as needed by helping customers at the counter and answering telephones.
Handle customer complaints with professionalism and understanding.
Set and adhere to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan and Private Auto Sales production.
Ensure compliance with all insurers, Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations.
Ensure control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds.
Continue professional development to enhance skills and abilities.
Understand and live up to HUB values, mission, and vision.
