About The Position

Clyburn Insurance is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Account Manager to join their team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, assisting them with policy questions, coverage changes, billing, claims support, and general account service. The Account Manager will work closely with producers to ensure a smooth and positive client experience.

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience required
• Must have a valid, active Property & Casualty insurance license
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with computers

Nice To Haves

• experience with agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, EPIC, Applied) a plus
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to help people

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals for personal and/or commercial lines
• Assist clients with billing questions and payment processing
• Support the claims process by guiding clients through next steps and coordinating with carriers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system
• Remarket existing accounts to competing carriers to ensure clients continue to receive competitive pricing and coverage
• Cross-sell and identify opportunities to round out client accounts (e.g., life insurance) alongside producers
• Remarket accounts as needed
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate service delivery
