About The Position

The Derek Stein Agency is growing, and we're looking for an Insurance Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team in Wolverine Lake, Michigan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in creating a seamless experience for clients. You'll support both new and existing personal lines accounts, work closely with our sales team, and serve as a trusted resource throughout the client relationship.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in personal lines account management, underwriting, or a related insurance client service role.
Experience working with carrier quoting platforms and agency management systems.
Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, including auto, homeowners, renters, and umbrella policies.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency with multiple computer systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines clients.
Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing inquiries.
Quote and rate insurance policies accurately and efficiently.

Assess clients' evolving insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
