About The Position

Newtek Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of NewtekOne, is seeking an Insurance Account Executive - Commercial Lines to join their team. Requirements

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and usages.
  • Knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets.
  • Knowledge of any/all liability coverages, property, professional, management, workers compensation, auto, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance programs and how they protect businesses
  • The ability to read policies and break down coverage.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and act with a sense of urgency.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills.
  • Contribute individually with minimal supervision as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of how to use Agency Management System.
  • A sense of urgency and ownership when dealing with clients and prospects of Newtek.
  • Proficient computer and keyboarding skills, ability to type 35wpm with reasonable accuracy.
  • Ability to make 50-75 outbound calls per day to make contact with clients to review policies and coverages.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all incoming inquiries on a daily basis by contacting clients from our internal customer base, as well as alliance partner relationships, ultimately driving revenue growth and sales
  • Meet monthly production and revenue goals set for booking and binding new business
  • Qualify and analyze prospects' coverage needs, assess their risk and consult on solutions to meet their needs
  • Utilize internal referral management system(s) on a daily basis in order to document progress and milestones within the sales process
  • Responsible for contacting prospect at least every 3 days, making substantive and diligent efforts to advance through the sales process
  • Educate and consult prospects on coverages that are available and appropriate for their business
  • Inform prospects about policy inclusions, limitations or changes to enhance coverage
  • Follow up with prospects during the sales process to keep the client engaged and informed every step of the way
  • Engage in daily virtual client interaction through impactful communication across phone, webinars, emails, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Cross sell other Newtek services to a new or existing customer, by creating a partnership and serving the customer any relevant additional services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and decision makers to secure and earn relevant business
