About The Position

Fabricate fiberglass insulation sub-parts used to complete prefabricated HVAC products. This role works with manufacturing equipment and hand tools to process, package, and manage fiberglass products and cut-parts inventory. The position may occasionally involve maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment, including making adjustments or mechanical and electrical repairs safely and efficiently. Work takes place inside a semi-open-air warehouse, which can be hot during summer despite mitigating efforts. Joval provides structured onboarding with hands-on training and safety certification, along with opportunities to develop skills in machine operation, quality inspection, and leadership. Internal promotion is prioritized, and many supervisors have advanced from the shop floor.

Requirements

• Be dependable and self-motivated.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to read measurement tools, such as a tape measure.
• Be willing to work shifts and overtime.
• Be proficient in reading and writing infographics, detailed instructions, and labels.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process fiberglass insulation using equipment such as hydraulic beam presses, hydraulic clicker presses, pneumatic slitters, and hand tools.
• Operate mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic-driven equipment, as well as small hand tools used to process fiberglass products.
• Take care of assigned equipment and occasionally maintain, service, troubleshoot, adjust, or repair equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete minor paperwork.
• Manage fiberglass cut-parts inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels.
• Work with team members and management to identify improvements to quality and productivity.
• Package fiberglass products properly.
• Perform monthly and annual insulation inventory.
