Requirements
- 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
Responsibilities
- Selling product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
- Identifying prospective customers and consistently generating and following up on leads.
- Conducting daily sales calls, providing proposals, generating new business leads, and managing accounts.
- Providing product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
- Understanding the market served, monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
- Meeting monthly sales targets.
- Communicating company safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites to identify any safety concerns.
- Managing customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
- Performing any other duty, task, or responsibility as assigned.
