This role is part of the construction team, supporting the installation of paint and coatings, and requires providing technical support to supervision while ensuring quality requirements are met. The Construction Coordinator acts as a liaison between JFJV Construction and field engineering, quality, and AWP/WFP teams, serving as the focal point for technical interfaces within the construction team. They ensure construction requirements are communicated and supported by other functions and coordinate with Technical Services and Quality organizations to meet project needs. Responsibilities include work planning, material management, interfacing with design, generating design change requests, securing approvals, and coordinating contracts or subcontractors. The role involves receiving direction from Construction Supervisors/Superintendents and the Construction Manager, acting as the first point of contact for field technical issues, and engaging necessary functions. The Construction Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, inspection, documentation, testing, and acceptance of completed work, working closely with Quality and Technical Services Managers to ensure compliance with project specifications and the Site Quality Manual. They must be qualified to perform quality inspections and sign off on quality records for their assigned discipline. The role also involves coordinating and monitoring contractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and security requirements, evaluating change requests, interfacing with contract administrators, and participating in pre-construction planning, including the development of the Construction Execution Plan and reviewing EPC schedules. A key aspect is playing an active role in developing the project's safety culture.
