Requirements

Valid driver's license
Reliability and consistent attendance
Physical stamina for demanding, hands-on work
Ability to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
Ability to work in hot and cold conditions
Strong attention to how a customer's home is left after work is completed
Willingness to learn and work toward BPI certification
Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

Construction, trades, or other physical work experience
EPA Lead-Safe RRP certification
BPI Building Science Principles certification
Insulation or weatherization experience
Interest in eventually pursuing an Energy Advisor role or another trade within our company

Responsibilities

Install insulation and weatherization measures in customers' homes.
Install attic and wall insulation, dense-pack insulation, air sealing, rim joist improvements, and ventilation details.
Haul and stage materials.
Run hoses.
Prepare and protect each home before work begins.
Thoroughly clean up when the job is complete.
Work toward BPI certification, beginning with Building Science Principles training.
