About The Position

As an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the control systems that keep our operations running safely and efficiently. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, electrical components, and automation systems while supporting production reliability and operational excellence. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Experience calibrating and maintaining industrial instrumentation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving industrial control systems and sensors
  • Experience monitoring and supporting SCADA systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with electrical wiring and automation systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair industrial electrical equipment up to 480V
  • Manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or process plant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Instrumentation troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Experience working in chemical, recycling, manufacturing, or processing industries
  • Technical certification or degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Automation, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation and control systems
  • Support sensors, transmitters, analyzers, and automated process equipment
  • Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Calibrate process instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters
  • Diagnose and repair motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), control panels, relays, and electrical systems up to 480V
  • Perform electrical wiring, equipment modifications, and system testing
  • Troubleshoot industrial control systems and field devices to identify and correct operational issues
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve system reliability and performance
