As an Instrumentation & Controls Technician you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future. The Instrumentation & Controls Technician is responsible for all instrumentation and control activities of the site. This is to include the complete, clear documentation of the test data while ensuring accuracy, and reliability of the equipment. The I&C Technician will ensure that all relevant UUT (Units Under Test) are verified within tolerance and work efficiently. This will be performed in a manner that ensures maximum safety. As an Instrumentation Technician you will be trained and assigned to work on Instrumentation equipment that is used to control Extraordinarily Hazardous Substances (EHS). This will be equipment that controls and measures Cl2 gas. This will be defined within the scope of the New Jersey State Toxic Catastrophic Prevention Act (TCPA). Employees will also be trained in Discharge Prevention Containment and Countermeasures (DPCC) regulations and are responsible for proper identification and notification of spills and leaks of hazardous substances.
