INSTRUMENT TECH - FULL TIME- 11:30am-8:00pm
About The Position
Oklahoma Surgical Hospital (OSH) is seeking a full-time Instrument Tech for a safety-sensitive position. The role is responsible for delivering surgical trays and supplies needed for procedures, understanding the procedures being performed, anticipating the operating room’s needs, and helping ensure quality patient care. The Instrument Tech must remain vigilant in maintaining the sterile field. The position works Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with no weekends or holidays required. It qualifies for discretionary quarterly bonuses and OSH’s full benefits package. OSH is a physician-owned facility focused on patient experience and quality of care.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment.
- Knowledge of fundamental sterility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver surgical trays and supplies necessary for surgical procedures.
- Understand the procedures being performed and anticipate the operating room’s needs.
- Help ensure quality patient care during operative procedures.
- Remain vigilant in maintaining the sterile field.
