About The Position

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Miami School of Medicine seeks a Clinical Instructor. Main responsibilities include extensive direct patient care, night and weekend on-call, and staffing the residents in the clinics and operating room. The Instructor will assist in teaching and training residents in an Otolaryngology Training Program. Must excel in teaching and be willing to assume appropriate administrative responsibilities. Candidate must have an M.D. degree and accredited residency-training program in otolaryngology in the U.S. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible and hold a valid and unrestricted State of Florida Medical License or Medical Faculty Certificate. This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O Degree
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program
  • State of Florida Medical Licensure
  • DEA Certification
  • Board certified or board eligible
