About The Position

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting part-time faculty for its Cross Cultural Studies instructor pool in the Social/Behavioral Sciences Department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform work that supports the colleges’ and District’s visions, missions, and values. Responsibilities related to an assignment include classroom instruction, student evaluation, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and other assignment-specific needs. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, and candidates may be contacted for interviews as needs arise. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027. Work hours vary based on assignment, and the position is less than 67% FTE.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Ethnic Studies, Psychology, Women’s Studies, Behavioral Science, Human Behavior, Social Science, History, or Literature; or a current California Community College Credential permitting full-time service as a Cross-Cultural Studies Instructor; or equivalent qualifications.
• Applicants claiming equivalency must submit an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting equivalency materials.
• Successful fingerprint clearance is required; a processing fee and Live Scan fee apply.
• New employees must provide acceptable proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.
