About The Position

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join their American Regional Training Department as an Instructor. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver quality classroom training to students including managers, agents, and supervisors from various stations, as well as vendor employees. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of one year of airline experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong communication skills. This position reports to the Manager, Training Resources.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of airline experience
  • Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
  • 10-year Criminal History Records Check
  • Drug screen
  • Proof of high school or GED completion
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of QIK, Sabre, and airport environment
  • Prior teaching experience in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Provide a quality classroom product to students, including managers, agents, and supervisors from stations, and vendor employees.
  • Teach core training modules covering QIK Sabre, Net Tracer, Ramp – Eagle Ground Operations Manual (EGOM), Complaint Resolution Official (CRO), Jetbridge, and Transfer Assist.
