About The Position

The primary responsibilities of the faculty are to teach and to develop the curriculum. This temporary full-time position is in the Radiology Technology department at the Boyce Campus. The salary range is between $46,781 - $52,940 for a 10-month teaching position, with the rank determined by educational level and specific relevant experience according to the collective bargaining agreement. The position is fully in-person, though this may be subject to change. Applications will be reviewed until filled, but early submission by 6/16/26 is encouraged for interview consideration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Qualified to teach the subject.
  • Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
  • Documented two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
  • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent in radiography.
  • Knowledge of educational pedagogy.
  • Knowledge of Course Management System (i.e. Blackboard).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of discipline-specific technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver learning experiences that support students in achieving the learning outcomes outlined in the Master Course Syllabus.
  • Employ teaching methods to design and maintain an engaging and effective learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote growth and academic success.
  • Cultivate a classroom environment that reflects the college’s mission, values, and goals.
  • Participate in program and discipline activities related to curriculum development and implementation.
  • Contribute to program reviews and strategic planning by offering recommendations on curriculum, staffing, facilities, and equipment to support continuous improvement and future growth.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to deepen expertise in the discipline, enhance instructional strategies, and remain informed about emerging trends in education.
  • Effectively integrate relevant educational technology tools into teaching.
  • Participate in department, division, campus, and college meetings and committees, supporting institutional goals and initiatives.
  • Maintain weekly office hours as required by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Perform other related duties as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
