About The Position
Ball State School of Music is seeking to hire one adjunct instructor to teach applied contemporary/commercial voice lessons in the Spring 2027 semester. Lessons are held on campus, and individual times are scheduled between the instructor and each student in accordance with the student's class schedule and the instructor's availability. Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
- Experience teaching/coaching and performing a variety of contemporary/commercial musical styles (R&B, soul, jazz, gospel, country/folk, pop, rock, etc.).
- Experience with the use of a microphone for amplification.
Responsibilities
- Teach applied contemporary/commercial voice lessons.
- Schedule individual lesson times with students.
