About The Position

Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the School of Music to teach Music 160R: Classical Voice. This position requires a strong commitment to the university's mission and serving as a role model for students. The instructor will be responsible for teaching applied voice lessons to college-aged students, focusing on vocal function and efficient lesson delivery. The role also emphasizes excellent organizational skills and prompt communication with students and colleagues. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in music required; Master's degree in music preferred.
• The required degree must be completed by the start date.
• Prior experience teaching applied voice lessons to college-aged students required.
• Possess a solid understanding of vocal function in both male and female singers.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
