About The Position
The Department of Mathematics at the University of New Orleans is anticipating hiring a non-tenure instructor in mathematics starting Fall 2026 with a beginning date of August 10, 2026.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Statistics.
- A curriculum vitae.
- Cover Letter indicating why you are a good fit for the position.
- Three recommendation letters from within the last two years.
- Any teaching evaluations of all classes taught in the last two years.
Responsibilities
- Teach 12 hours per semester in various formats possibly including face-to-face, online synchronous and online asynchronous.
- Participate in supporting the Pathways program, the Math Tutor Center, committee work, registration, group finals and other departmental activities.
