About The Position

Stark State College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor of Justice and Political Studies to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's commitment to academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and the mission of Stark State College.
  • Master's degree in the Political Science, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Justice Studies; OR Master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in the listed disciplines.
  • Degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution at the time they were conferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction in various justice and political studies courses and demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that meets the needs of our student body.
  • Implement innovative teaching methodologies and integrate technology to enhance the learning experience.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and assessment activities.
  • Provide academic advisement and support to students.
  • Assist with department activities to promote the success of Stark State College.
