About The Position

The Department of Elementary Education is seeking part-time semester contract faculty members to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses, whose strengths and experiences are in the areas of curriculum and instruction. Requirements

Masters or Doctorate in elementary education or related area from an accredited institution
At least three years elementary classroom teaching experience
Knowledge of recent trends in elementary education
Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate courses in elementary and literacy education (for Master's degree candidates)
Teaching online graduate courses in elementary and literacy education (for Doctorate degree candidates)
Teaching courses on-campus (for Master's degree candidates)
Partnering with school and community agencies (for Master's degree candidates)
Performing other duties assigned by the department chairperson (for Master's degree candidates)
