About The Position

The Department of Educational Psychology welcomes applications for part-time semester instructors. Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. The Department of Educational Psychology is seeking applicants for part-time semester instructors to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: developmental psychology, educational psychology, school psychology, institutional research, research methods, statistics, school counseling, and/or gifted education. Develop and deliver course content and serve as the instructor of record in person/on campus. This is an in-person/on-campus position. Applicants in the departmental pool will be notified only if an opportunity becomes available in her or his area(s) of expertise.

Requirements

  • Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
  • Masters degree in education, psychology, or related field from an accredited institution is required to teach undergraduate courses in the specific degree field
  • Successful completion of a background check and education verification
  • Must be able to teach courses in person/on campus

  • Doctoral degree in education, psychology, school psychology, research methods, or statistics from an accredited institution is required to teach graduate courses in the specific degree field or meet the tested experience policy
